Sister Cities. Local Action, Global Impact
Ashland and Sviatohirsk
In Summer 2023, a new Sister City program was launched between Ashland, Oregon, and Sviatohirsk, Donetsk, Ukraine. The program, managed through Ukraine Aid International and the Ashland-Sviatohirsk Assistance Project, aims to establish a strong relationship between the two towns and provide much-needed aid and support to the people of Sviatohirsk, who have been severely impacted by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
We are excited to begin this partnership and look forward to the opportunities it will bring for cultural exchange and mutual benefit.
