We had the opportunity to sit with Monty of LNK Animals Lithuania to talk about the impact of war dogs in humanitarian efforts, shedding light on the incredible bond between these loyal animals and the individuals they serve.
Moreso, close to 90% of Soledar Hromada is occupied by opposing forces which means we couldn’t unload to buildings as this would become a major target for the enemy. We had to use the help of locals to unload aid items into smaller/safer locations.
In the end — albeit dangerous — we’re able to deliver these aid packages without sustaining any casualties.
