In collaboration with our partners at Wise Water we installed a much needed water filtration system to the city of Sviatohirsk! This system will enable thousands of gallons of water from the local well to become clean drinking and cleaning water- a commodity limited thanks to attacks affecting prior water systems in the city.
The water filtration system is made in Ukraine, ensuring our spending on aid stimulates the Ukrainian economy whenever possible. We also have made it possible for all water from the system to be given out for free to the community, keeping the resource accessible to all.
On the day of installation the community gathered outside, anxiously awaiting this much needed resource.
