The Ukraine Aid International team gathered samples of river water for analysis. Due to the influx of flood water, the composition and toxicity of the river water have changed. It is crucial to conduct tests on the water before setting up water filtration systems in Kherson. These tests will help determine the appropriate filtration systems to be used and their effectiveness in purifying the water. During our time by the river, we observed civilians and volunteers loading a boat with aid destined for the remote areas of Kherson Oblast, highlighting their dedication and commitment to assisting those in need.
The extent of flooding in Kherson Oblast is incredibly severe, transforming once lush grass fields into vast lakes. Navigating through the affected areas now heavily relies on the use of boats as the primary means of transportation.
