Extending a Helping Hand to Bohorodychne

Situated within Svitahorsk Hromada, the small village of Bohorodychne in Ukraine has become a place of isolation and hardship. We, at UAI had the opportunity to visit this community, and what we witnessed was both heart-wrenching and inspiring. 

Rebuilding Sviatohirsk: A Tale of Resilience and Hope

Discover the untold story of Sviatohirsk, a town that has faced unimaginable devastation and yet remains a testament to resilience. During our recent visit on the 8th of March, we were captivated by the breathtaking hilltop that once served as a lover's lane, now offering a haunting view of the flattened ruins of Sviatohirsk.

On the 28th of Feb, UAI embarked on another mission to Lyman. Our team visited the local hospital to gain firsthand insights into the pressing needs of the community. Our interactions with the hospital staff and patients shed light on the challenges they face daily.

As part of our ongoing efforts to support the Lyman community, we paid a visit and to witness the impact of our charity work firsthand was truly inspiring. One of the highlights of our visit was touring three apartment buildings that Westport, our generous partner, helped conserve and repair.
