We embarked on a different mission to Kramatorsk. During our visit, we had the honor of meeting the Mayor and deputy mayor, who shared valuable insights into the challenges faced by the community. Through an eye-opening tour, we witnessed firsthand the issues and hardships that the people of Kramatorsk endure on a daily basis.
One of the most sobering moments of our visit was when we stood before the remnants of an apartment building that had been targeted by a rocket attack. The destruction was devastating, serving as a stark reminder of the dangers faced by innocent civilians.
Additionally, our team visited the central culture house, multiple schools, and educational facilities, all of which had been reduced to ruins. The impact on the community, particularly the children who have lost their access to education, was heart-wrenching.
In our tour of Kramatorsk, we also visited the local hospital, where the urgent need for medical equipment was apparent. We witnessed a medpoint that had been established as an emergency service, only to be tragically hit by a missile shortly after its setup.
The plea for help continued in the third hospital, where a critical need for an MRI machine was evident. Furthermore, the only remaining gynecological center in Donetsk Oblast urgently requires laparoscopy and colonoscopy equipment to ensure the provision of essential care.
Your support can help us provide vital medical equipment, rebuild educational facilities, and offer hope to this community ravaged by conflict.
